As part of the NULAI Virtual StreetLaw programme, NULAI introduces the VSL Competition (VSLC). The competition will engage Nigerian law clinics to create compelling and educational digital content using streetlaw framework. VSLC is an annual competition open to all Law clinics across Nigeria. Submissions will be in video format. Law clinics will be required to develop content using different creative approaches (for example, debate, panel, short film, animation, podcast, documentary etc) that speaks to the theme of the competition.

Key Elements of Videos: 

• Be visually engaging, creative, and impactful.
• Be simple and easy to understand
• Address key provisions of specific laws relevant to the theme
• Show real life examples of how the laws have been used within the Nigerian context, negative or positive
• How the law clinics can contribute to practically addressing identified challenges.
