The 2026 NULAI Virtual StreetLaw Competition (VSLC) invites university law clinics across the country to participate in an innovative national challenge to create engaging civic education content for young Nigerians ahead of the 2027 general elections.
This year’s edition builds on the success of the inaugural 2025 competition and expands the conversation from online expression to the broader role of young people in strengthening democracy in digital spaces.
As political conversations increasingly move online, young Nigerians need trusted, accessible, and relatable information on their rights and responsibilities.

The best six clinics will receive grants of N200,000 – N500,000 to implement the proposed intervention highlighted in their submissions.
The funds will be allocated for the implementation of the proposed projects, with progress reports required to track their impact and effectiveness. The winning clinics will also receive recognition on the NULAI Nigeria website and its social media platforms.
